Three Custom Color Specialists Seychelles Collection, Take Me Away - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Add together Republic of seychelles, Africa to the list of dream vacation places. I spent a practiced hour this morning ogling pics of this tropical paradise of white beaches and granite rock formations, located just off the declension of Madagascar. The urge to check out the place was brought on by — surprise, surprise — makeup!
I blame this tour of wanderlust on the 3-piece Seychelles Collection by 3 Custom Color Specialists. Inspired by the colors of the Seychelles Islands, the spring palette of brown, green, fuchsia, peach and pink shades includes makeup for the eyes and lips.
Eyeshadow in Coco De Mer ($23): This shimmery gold coco brown flashes to emerald green according to the light. The color reminds me of a toned-downward, golden version of MAC Eyeshadow in Lodge, a duochrome that flashes from dark-brown to green to blue to greyness. I can see this color looking absolutely smokin' with green, gilded and bronze shades, like MAC Paint Pot in Delft, MAC Eyeshadow in Humid and MAC Eyeshadow in Amber Lights. The texture of Coco De Mer feels soft and finely milled, and it applies and blends with the ease of Shu Uemura's ability shadows.
Lipgloss in Peacock Flower ($22): Peacock Blossom is a peachy pink that flashes to violet. It's the most unique color I've seen for lips in awhile, and one of my new faves. The duochrome quality reminds me of MAC's Lollipop Lovin' lipstick, a funky merely fun coral with hints of greenish released earlier this year. I similar the feel of the thin and non-sticky formula, which packs a lot of smoothen.
Sheer Lipstick in Frangipani ($22): This shimmery, sheer fuchsia with golden flecks of glitter is gratis of taste or odour. The formula feels moisturizing and light on my lips.

This collection could hands transition into summer, and the colors would pair well with any of the current bronze and teal summer collections, like Estee Lauder's Statuary Goddess or Urban Decay's Get Baked Palette.
While the makeup is on the pricy side, I call back you get what you pay for in terms of texture and color payoff. You tin can save a few bucks with a special deal on the Three Custom Colorists website by purchasing all 3 items in the collection for $50. That'southward $17 less than you'd pay if you bought each particular individually — not too shabby, tabby.
If you're a fan of high-end, indy makeup lines, the Seychelles collection might be worth checking out.
Welcome to the Hotel Cattyfornia
Such a lovely place; such a lovely confront.
I'k leaving tomorrow for Hawaii, so early this morning I dropped off Tabs at the kitty hotel. He'll be vacationing there for the next few days. I felt really distressing when I drove abroad, and I got to thinking it would be prissy if they had kitty iChat at the hotel so that cat moms could stay in touch.
Delight tell me that there are crazy cat ladies out there who as well retrieve this would exist awesome…
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
